Down to Basics with Tshirt Printing

Get Your Business Noticed with Custom Tshirt Printing

Custom printed apparel is a great way to advertise things or even promote a cause; with custom printed apparel, you can print customized logos and designs on clothing and let people wear it so that you get free publicity. With regards to advertising uses, it is for sure that custom printed apparel is truly one of the most inexpensive ways to accumulate publicity; it is also very popular among the common people and even young people to adults would like this over other advertising items.

Why No One Talks About Prints Anymore

Thsirt Printing 101: Exposing The Screen Now that the art is taped to the screen in the appropriate place, we are ready to place it in the exposure unit and expose the emulsion to light. This is the step in which we cure the emulsion with light. Remember that your film positive will be 100% black for the areas that will print ink. The black areas on the film positive that make up your design will block the light from hitting and exposing the emulsion. Those unexposed areas of your design will remain water soluble while the rest of the emulsion on the screen, being exposed to light, will be cured and thus no longer water soluble. This means that the emulsion that was blocked from the light by your film positive will dissolve and wash out when rinsed with water.

There a great deal of good reasons investing in custom printed apparel for your marketing desires and some of these reasons will be talked about in this article ; the first reason is that it is more affordable than other advertising items and is very cost-effective. Because it is cheap, you don't need a big budget to start your promotional campaign and you can even start with a small amount of custom printed clothing, just to be safe; the next reason is that it has a built-in repeat factor, meaning that it can be used multiple times and this is very important in advertising. There have been studies that conclude that for a potential customer to become interested in a product, it must be presented to him/her at least nine times; if you use other promotional mediums like tv advertisements, repetition can get very expensive, whereas with custom printed apparel, you only need to pay for the manufacturing of the clothes.

Case Study: My Experience With Prints

Thsirt Printing 101: Going To Press : When you make a cross hair use a medium tip black Sharpie and make the lines bold so you can see them through the emulsion on a new screen. Your pallet will have to be somewhat clean so you may see the black lines easily. You shouldn't let too much shirt felt and spray tack build up on the pallet anyway. A clean, smooth pallet will give better results especially with halftones. Square the lines off with the edges using a right angle drafting tool. It's nice when it hangs off the pallet on one side of the square so you can do it pretty quick by putting it flush to one edge and make sure the ruler guide is long enough to cross the pallet at least from shoulder to shoulder.

The people who wear custom printed apparel the promotes certain things are also a factor in making this promotional strategy an effective one because the act of wearing some clothing that promotes something means that you approve of that product or that cause, thus potential customers will know that there are a lot of people that can vouch for that product or for that cause; additionally, most people think that custom printed apparel is expensive because it is made for a specific reason, thus people won't be ashamed to wear it. Custom printed apparel can also be used to support other promotional tools like a magazine wherein if people buy a magazine they also get a free custom printed t-shirt, and because custom printed apparel has a high perceived value, most people will be more eager to buy the magazine; with the age of the internet nowadays, the right words or the right message on custom printed apparel can go viral instantly and increase the traffic to your websites be exorbitant amounts.

Thsirt Printing 101: Adjust the Off-Contact Distance -- The screen MUST be set to sit slightly off the shirtboard. This is called off-contact printing and is how all good printing is done. Some presses have adjustments for this. Others will need to have the screen shimmed from underneath. Either way, you may need to put a thin piece of cardboard under the edge of the frame so it will hit the shirtboard as the screen comes down. This may seem unorthodox, but again, trust me. You need to keep the screen from 1/16″ to 1/8″ off the shirt and no matter how well made a manual press is, the tip of the screen is going to move downward when you get to the end of the stroke and nothing is going to keep it off the board but a simple shim.

Acid house
Acid house is a variant of house music characterized by the use of simple tone generators with tempo-controlled resonant filters. It began when musicians discovered that they could create interesting sounds with the Roland TB-303 analogue bass synthesizer by tweaking the resonance and frequency cut-off dials as they played. The term "acid" was used in Chicago at the time as a term for the squelchy "acid" sounds of such bass synthesizers such as the TB-303, and has no connection to LSD (in fact, the drug most commonly associated with the acid house scene was MDMA, or Ecstasy). Acid house music became a central part of the early rave scene in the U.K., and the yellow smiley became its emblem.
